Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is your weather cancellation policy?

A: We follow Denver Public School weather closures. If you have registered for a class that is cancelled, you can credit it towards a future class or email for a refund. We will not refund for a class that has not been cancelled.

Q: What is the age group of each class:

A: We recommend ages 4-7 attend Little Kids Breakin, 8-13 attend our Youth Intro to Breakin and teens 14+ attend our Adult Breakin. Our "age recommendations" are not strict. Some younger children do better in an older group that is more focused and disciplined. Some older children do better in a younger group where they feel they are at the top of the group. Schedules do not always permit attendance with the correct peer group, etc. Most importantly, we want kids to attend the class they will thrive in.

Q: Why does Bboy Factory claim to teach Hip Hop?

A: Breakin is one of the 4 elements of Hip Hop : DJing, MCing, Graffiti and Breakin. Breakin is the original Hip Hop dance form. Today Hip Hop has evolved into a broad genre that includes many styles of dance like: Poppin, Lockin, Krump, Choreography, Whacking, Turfing, Jooking, Freestyle, etc.

Q: Do I have to register online for "drop in" classes?

A: No. We can handle everything in the studio. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class if you have not already registered.

Q: Do I have to pay for Open Sessions?

A: No. We offer Open Sessions as a community service for our studio community. We happily accept donations for the space and encourage everyone to purchase merchandise to support our business.
